We speed through life. The world is a blur as we focus on task, or are disconnected from it by the constant demands of the electronic- cell phones, texting, buds, and other electronic media. How do we connect with the people and the environment that surrounds us? What do we see and what is just a part of that blur? What connects us or is relative in our lives? Prints and Digital Age are images that explore this inquiry.
Questions are just a part of what drives my work. The process of discovery with an image is another part of my work. Each image has a life of its own. Finding the way that the image has the most emotional impact is an element in the creation of the images in Composites, Abstracts, Projections and Installations. Other elements are self examination and the creation of an image to express inner feelings and emotions.
